| A native of Tupelo, Mississippi, Mr. Lamar moved to Arlington in 1997. He served on the Health & Safety Committee from 1999 to 2003. He also started the Neighborhood Watch Program in Arlington and conducted National Night Out for three years. He was appointed as an Alderman in 2002 and re-elected to the position in the 2003 and 2007 municipal elections. Mr. Lamar also serves as the Vice-Mayor for Arlington. |

Pat (wife of 45 years), retired registered nurse, worked as one of the first nurses at St. Jude Children's Research Hospital and worked for more than 20 years as a school nurse in the Shelby County School system, now teaching CPR and First Aid classes; 3 grown daughters - Lisa, Leah, and Lara; 4 grandchildren |

Retired from Southwest Tennessee Community College in 2001 (formerly State Technical Institute at Memphis) as a Dean and Professor of Accounting and Computers; taught at the college for 33 years; served 39 years in the Mississippi National Guard, United States Air Force, and the Tennessee National Guard. |
