Mr. McKee was elected to his first term as Alderman in the 2005 municipal election. He was elected following a successful write-in campaign.
Family: Lynn (wife of 40 years; part owner of Classic Trends at Arlington's Depot Square); 2 sons – Mike (wife Denita) and Jeff (wife Amanda); 3 granddaughters, Jordan, Aubrey, Olivia; all live in Arlington
Career: Plant Superintendent for Riviana Foods in Memphis; has been with Riviana for 27 years. Mr. McKee has been in management for over 30 years.
Civic: Alderman, Town of Arlington, 2005 to present; Vice-Mayor, Oct 2007 to present; member of Planning Commission, Oct 2007 to present; Chairman, Board of Zoning Appeals, Oct 2007 to July 2009; Chairman, Parks and Recreation Committee, 2005 to 2007; Beautification Committee, 2005 to 2007; Tennessee Elected Officials Academy, Levels I and II; Graduate of Tennessee Local Government Leadership Program (2008)
Religion: The McKee's are active members of Bellevue Baptist Church
Education: Graduate of Clarke Jr. College (Business); attended the University of Memphis and studied Business Management; has continued education in Management Effectiveness, Coaching and Counseling, Managing Multiple Priorities, Executive Development, Effective Communication and Controlling Costs and Budgets
Hobbies: Woodworking, fishing, and all sports
Misc: Mr. McKee says it is an honor to be serving the Town of Arlington as an Alderman.
